Working in personal and elder care abroad

Cap Soins International supports French-speaking candidates in personal care and elder care. We identify positions with Canadian and overseas employers, connect candidates with them, and carry the immigration process through to a work permit tied to a named employer, obtained before departure.

Verify before you trust

This sector is crowded with intermediaries who hold no right to practise. The only real protection a candidate has is to check, with the competent authority, that the person they are speaking to is genuinely authorised.

What we do

Three stages, in this order. None can be skipped, and none begins before the previous one has succeeded.

  • Assess your profile

A frank review of your experience, language level and qualifications against what employers and authorities actually require. If there is no workable route for you today, we say so.

  • Connect you with an employer

We work from real positions, with identified employers who accept the obligations that fall to them. A job is not for sale: no recruitment fee is ever charged to the candidate.

  • Carry the immigration process

Building the file, filing it, following it through to the decision. The work permit is tied to a named employer and is obtained before departure. No one can promise the decision itself: it belongs to the authorities.

What we do not do

This list matters as much as the previous one. If anyone offers you any of these, however trustworthy they seem, walk away.

  • We do not sell jobs. No recruitment fee is ever charged to the candidate, in any form.
  • We guarantee no outcome. The decision belongs to the authorities: no consultant, no firm, no intermediary can promise it.
  • We are not a government or a public service, and we do not act on behalf of any.
  • We request no documents through this site. No passport, no diploma, no identity document: this site does not collect them.
  • We publish no testimonials. A reader cannot verify them, and this sector has manufactured far too many.
  • We do not announce timelines we do not control.

Cap Soins International is a firm based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Its work covers one defined field: personal care and elder care, for French-speaking candidates, primarily from sub-Saharan Africa.

That focus is deliberate. Employer needs in this sector are real and lasting, and it is also where candidates are most exposed to false promises. We work here under one rule: say nothing we cannot demonstrate.
